Our Story
1989

Today
Our story starts in 1989 when Peter Wilkinson started farming in the small rural village of Great Altcar.
In 1996 the farm diversified into producing packed Hay and Straw bales, Wilkinson's Pet Bedding was born.
As business is growing rapidly we decide to go for it.
We installed two fully automated packing machines and created the business Q Hay Ltd which trades as Wilkinson's Pet Bedding.
Today, our customer base continues to grow. We now supply Pet retailers, Pet Wholesalers, Garden Centres, DIY stores all over the UK.
